We are happy to announce that the Kick-off meeting for the CESAREF project will take place in Brussels from Monday 20th to Monday 27th February. Our 8 academic and 9 industrial beneficiaries, our 10 associate partners and our 15 PhD students will be invited to participate and contribute to a full week of activities, training, team building and site tours.  

The “Kick-off » part of the week will start with presentations giving the political and industrial context to the project. Presentations on the European Green Deal and pathways to carbon neutral steel, glass and cement will be given by experts in these fields. This will be followed by the presentation of the many different aspects to this complex European project. 

Training events will then also be held to introduce some scientific and industrial concepts as well as a day of communication skills at Uleige.  

The week will be completed with two site tours at AGC Glass and Tata Steel.
