PhD05 – Andrea SALERNO and PhD06 – Kwasi BOATENG at the Fete de la Science

Two DCs, Andrea SALERNO and Kwasi BOATENG, engaged with the French general public during the Fete de la Science event that took place nationwide from the 12-14th October 2023. The Fete de la Science is an annual national event, free and open to all. At the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and Innovation, and supported by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, the Fete de la Science encourages the engagement with the general public enthusiastic about science. Professionals, researchers, technicians, engineers, laboratory workers and even amateurs from all disciplines meet the public in order to better promote research, its discoveries and its professions.

Local translators were on hand to help with any language issues as well as the project coordinator Marc HUGER. The CeramiK Exhibition, developed as part of the MSCA-ETN ITN ATHOR and currently being updated for CESAREF, was presented at the Centre Européen de la Céramique, Limoges, France and a stand by the IRCER laboratory was installed at the ESTER Technopole, Limoges.
